Well, hello dear brand creator.
I could escalate the saying ‘Once a designer, always a designer’ to ‘wherever and whenever a designer’. That thing, when I read the menu in restaurants, and while reading it, I debate its typography, letter spacing, etc.
It doesn’t leave me even on vacation when I carelessly navigate my SUP, and I find myself studying its logo. When I think about my professional (de)formation, that playful smile always pops onto my face. :))
Interestingly, as a child, everyone told me to be an economist. I supposedly knew how to handle prices and deal with money. Not quite sure about that. Luckily, my wonderful, caring mother recognised my talent for art and guided me into visual waters. So, I started my professional path as a graphic designer in high school for design and after continued at the Academy of Arts and Design in Ljubljana.
Then gaining professional experiences by creating designs in our family business with a graphic printing tradition. Ended up evolving with building my brand Polonadesign.

To be honest, I'm more up there in the limitless where the vivid imagination takes over - the place of countless capabilities where everything is possible. And then bring it through design craft and expertise into tangible reality for your brand identity. For me, it's not a job; it's a way of living.
My parents like to say that I drew before I could walk. Most of the time, you could find me running around with coloured pencils. I believe we all have this creative charge inside that we need to express, and my way was through art.
The images in my head are so intense that they need a way out. I'm so thankful that my business side guided me very early on into graphic design, where I can translate your ideas into shapes with a few simple lines that get your brand understood.
After Academy, I got a job at an agency where I soon stepped into the shoes of a creative designer - working on some stunning projects and perfecting my skills.
A few years went by when the moment came for me to leave the agency and open my Designa studio where I don't feel I go to work every day but really to a space where I enjoy and tap into my creative mood, which overflows in living that higher purpose and contributing to changing

Hi, lovely to have you here.
It was a long journey for me to take my spot in career life, and I have been interested in so many things, some deeper than others. Being short on self-esteem held me back from expanding them many times in the past and wasting time on things that were not my perspective. But it also taught me how to keep going.
After I finished my studies as an architect, I joined my sister.
With all the ideas of how to serve brands better, taking a brand strategy course was most beneficial. And not just for business development but also for me personally.
I don't know how it is with you when something catches your attention, but if we are a little alike, you can guess it didn't stay with just one course and one workshop. And it didn't stay just with learning from top recognisable strategists out there;
I also put it into practice with our clients and friends developing their brands. When the results started coming, I knew I had found my happy place and what I would like to pursue as a profession. It all came together, as puzzles do.
